Greetings, and well met. I am Andrew McIntosh, game developer and software programmer. Here you'll find some general information on who I am and what I've done, as well as easy ways to contact me.

At heart, I am a gamer. From RPG to FPS, turn-based to full action, I enjoy many different genres across multiple platforms and generations. This passion eventually led to the desire to want to create these worlds and experiences that I spend so much of my time in. Because of this, during high school I began learning VB, C#, C++, and Java. This created a deeper wanting for programming. Immediately after graduating high school, I attended Full Sail University and achieved my Bachelors of Science in Game Development. During my time there, I learned many key elements of being an effective programmer, as well as built up a very diverse skill set, including AI systems, networking, database management, multi-threaded programming, and more.

I love what I do, and am always determined to better myself. I'm currently working on a solo action RPG project in Unity3D to further my understanding of the engine, and to improve my programming and problem solving skills. I am currently in the early planning and framework development stage and plan to stream the process to Twitch (https://twitch.tv/thebackstabi) and use Github for versioning.

When I'm not programming, I still try to find and learn new things. I'm in the process of learning Japanese, and would very much like to one day visit, and even work, in Japan. I'm also a lover of music, both traditional and electronic, and you'll rarely find me doing anything without some kind of music in the background. I've also obtained the Eagle Scout rank during my time in the Boy Scouts of America.
